AIM Peak Endurance™ provides the only oral source of ATP, PEAK ATP®, clinically proven to elevate ATP levels within the body. AIM Peak Endurance™ is a grape electrolyte drink mix combining ATP (adenosine triphosphate), electrolytes, and B vitamins. It contains only one gram of sugar.
How does ATP work?
ATP increases energy levels without boosting your heart rate, which is what can occur with caffeine, ginseng, and ephedra products. The key to energy release within cells lies in the phosphate bonds within ATP molecules. When energy is needed, the bond between the second and third phosphate is broken releasing energy. This results in the formation of adenosine diphosphate (ADP). When food comes into the cell, the ADP takes the energy from the food and converts back to ATP. This process is called the “Krebs cycle.”ATP is depleted with age or stress
Researchers at the Mayo Clinic have found that DNA damage over time may cause the loss of ATP. In fact, studies have shown that between the ages of 20 and 70, ATP levels are reduced by 50 percent.Properly balanced electrolytes and added B vitamins
Most sport drinks only contain sodium, potassium, and chloride, or three of the five major electrolytes. AIM Peak Endurance™ contains all five major electrolytes adding calcium and magnesium to the list. Calcium regulates nerve impulse transmission, aids in smooth and skeletal muscle contraction, and plays a central role in synthesis and breakdown of muscle and liver glycogen. Magnesium is a key component of more than 300 enzymes including ATPase and an enzyme that is involved in the metabolism of muscle glucose and glucogenesis. Can I take other products in conjunction with AIM Peak Endurance™?
Because of the ability to enhance blood flow, AIM Peak Endurance™ may help in the distribution of other AIM product ingredients within the body.
How long does it take to notice the benefits of AIM Peak Endurance™?
Several human pilot and animal studies indicate that cardiovascular, circulatory, and vascular system benefits are realized almost immediately. Noticing significant increases in performance results, however, may take up to several weeks of consistent use.
Do I still need to take AIM BarleyLife® if I take AIM Peak Endurance™?
Yes, AIM Peak Endurance™ is a target supplement replenishing depleted ATP stores and addresses a specific molecule need whereas AIM BarleyLife® provides a wide spectrum of nutrients needed by the cells and every body system.
Where does the one gram of sugar in AIM Peak Endurance™ come from?
No sugar is added to Peak Endurance™. The one gram of sugar comes from the grape juice powder. It is natural fructose and glucose from grapes. Gatorade has 28 grams of sugar per 16-ounce serving and most of it comes from processed sucrose, or table sugar.
Is AIM Peak Endurance™ only for those who exercise?
Absolutely not. As we age the body’s levels of ATP decline. It has been demonstrated that in humans, upon aging, liver and blood levels of ATP drop significantly. A study measuring ATP levels in human red blood cells found that people in their 70s had about 50 percent less ATP than people in their 20s. Because ATP powers and regulates nearly every human function, it is understandable that declines in ATP stores are associated with impaired organ and muscle function, which may contribute to a variety of harmful physiological conditions. AIM Peak Endurance™ is an everyday supplement that will provide benefits to both those who exercise and those who do not.
What are electrolytes and why do we need them? And why is the sodium content so high?
Electrolytes are substances that become ions in solution and acquire the capacity to conduct electricity. The balance of the electrolytes in our bodies is essential for normal function of our cells and our organs. The sodium and potassium amounts in AIM Peak Endurance™ have been calculated to deliver the proper percent concentrations when diluted with 10 to 20 ounces of water per Dr. Carl V. Gisolfi’s recommendations. AIM Peak Endurance™ contains 210 mg of sodium per serving, which is only 9 percent of the Recommended Daily Intake of sodium (2,400 mg).
